Bandung trip : warung Daweung Moko

Hi there! comeback again with another places in Bandung. yeah.. Bandung always become a favorite destination for holiday. This time I review the place named "warung Daweung. This is an eatary in the top hill of Bandung city. But some people call it as Warung Moko. This place is located in Lembang, Bandung, on top of the hill (which most people say) the highest peak in Bandung, approximately 1.500mdpl. Not every people in Bandung know Moko. Me as a traveller know Moko by internet and I see every picture by people who came to this place is awesome! Because I was curious, so I came here and want to know about this place. The location of warung Moko  can be said is really far from the city. It's very high. To go to this place, we will pass Saung Angklung Udjo. But for those who bring a car please be careful because the road can be fairly extreme uphill and turn like hell :p. You should bring a good vehicle to reach Warung Moko. We will pass through the hills. Climb.. climb.. and climb then suddenly we meet steep derivative. That time, me and my friend lost direction because the GPS direct me to the wrong way in order to avoid faulty street or a sharp incline! so poor..  For me by my experience, GPS is not always direct me to the right way. So we need to be brave to ask people around. This is the view from the side.



Just look at the car in the picture belows. It is the road to the top of the hill. It looks normal but it actually climbs and  therocky soil are quite steep. Be careful when riding a car. In that time  I had to park the car and walk down the ramp (pretty much) and touch down at Moko! the view around Warung Moko is so fresh because you can see everything in green. There are many green vegetables that embedded in a local resident field. so you can see everything is very fresh and feel the difference.

Calm.. serene.. and peaceful are good description for this place. The pictures above are the outer part of the stall. It's directly facing the hills. Sitting here and looking around at a view like this is really wonderful. Look at the hills while drink a cup of hot tea become nice experience if you come to warung Moko. Indeed it could be said that this is a stall. Do not imagine this is a cafe because cafe is more modern than a stall and Moko is really a stall. Many people from the city willingly want to come to this place. Start from students untill family always come to this place. But in weekend, warung Moko is always full by visitors so I recommend you to come to Moko at working day or weekdays so you can enjoy your escaping in Moko totally. There's also a gazebo that stands on a high hill. I forgot to take pictures of the stall and you can googling it .hehe.. This is really the landscape of Moko view. Unfortunately I came when  it is cloudy. If it's clean we can see beautiful  Bandung entire with  180 degrees look of the highest peak in the city. Even you'd  also better come at night. The city ​​lights decorate the beautiful night of altitude. About the foods, Moko sells standard foods such as noodles, fried rice, fried noodles, etc and about the drinks such as tea or local cofee.
